The idea of SJP Accounting has been in the back of my head since I entered the work force. I knew that one day I would have children, and I would need the flexibility to work and to be a mom. After having my first child in March 2007, I made the difficult decision to not return to my wonderful job at a great company. I sat stagnant knowing that this was my chance to start what I have been thinking about for so long. So, with some fear, I started my dream.

I have over 5 years experience in bookkeeping and payroll services. I am also currently studying to be an Enrolled Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I will go back to school in a few years to get my Master's and sit for the CPA exam. Until then, I will enjoy
